Lavender has been known in cosmetics, aromatherapy, medicine, and cooking since ancient times. There are more than 400 types of lavender in the world, with different flavors and qualities. Bulgaria occupies a leading position in the world industry for the production of lavender oil.

Our lavender essential oil is obtained by steam distillation from the flowering tops of Lavandula angustifolia. Like other essential oils, it is a complex mixture of over 160 components. The main active ingredients are phytochemicals, linalool, linalyl acetate, lavandulyl acetate, lavandulol, terpinene-4-ol, and ocimene.

Lavender oil is a clear liquid with a yellowish to yellow-green color and a characteristic fresh, herbal scent of lavender. The crop is usually ready for harvest in July, depending on weather conditions.

Lavender oil is one of the most traditional essential oils in the world. It is used in the perfumery, cosmetics, aromatherapy, pharmacy, food flavoring, and other fields. Its therapeutic properties as a natural relaxant, which have a relaxing effect on the muscles and nervous system, are widely used. The lavender essential oil has proven antiseptic, antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties.
